Historical Tables
Tables were important tools for historical education and reading in the early modern age. The project includes works between 1475 and 1850 which depict "historical time" in tabular form, combine table and text or were conceived as direct commentaries on tables. The collection was developed in the project B1 or the Munich collaborative research centre 573. More on the Projekt (in German).
The list of works provides a bibliographical overview over tabular representations of history. Aditional information on author and work will help to introduce the contexts and forms of tabular historiography. The list can be arranged alphabetically by title or author or chronologically by date of publication.
